Lexus LX 470 Drive Shaft or propeller shaft is the mechanical component that transmits torque and rotation between the transmission/transfer case and the differential. The Lexus LX 470 Driveshaft is a carrier of torque – it is subject to torsion and sheer stress. It must therefore be strong enough to bear the stress, while avoiding too much additional weight, as that would in turn increase the drive shaft inertia.

The Lexus LX 470 Driveline incorporates one or more universal joints to allow for variations in the alignment and distance between the driving and driven components.
