With the introduction of the new Infiniti M35x model in 2006, the manufacture added an AWD model to its various car lines and gave it great all weather road performance. A drivetrain system composed of two driveshafts is installed in the vehicle, with a rear and a front propeller shaft. The Infiniti M35X Drive shaft delivers torque to the wheels at all times.
Failure of the front drive shaft is very common for the M35x. A clicking sound from the front of the vehicle and vibration during speeds of over 30 mph is very common. The front driveshaft U joints will also show signs of rust when they are extremely bad. High quality M35x Drive shaft replacement is important for the correct function of the drivetrain.

Infiniti M35x Drive Shaft Design
The front driveshaft connects the transfer case to the front differential. A splined yoke fits into the transfer case, and a flange yoke connects via a U-Joint to the front differential.
The rear 2-piece driveshaft connects the transfer case to the rear differential and incorporates a center support in the middle. There is a single U-Joint flange with 4 bolts in the front of the shaft and a rear CV joint mounted in the back.
This setup applies to 2006-2007-2008-2009-2010 year model.

For our M35x front drive shaft we have followed the original design for longevity and performance.
On the rear drives shaft we offer a remanufactured driveline where all moving components are replaced with quality heavy duty parts and the following changes:
- Redesign of the front and middle flanges to accommodate U joints that are replaceable, unlike the originals which are not. This gives you the advantage of being able to replace just the joint, and not the whole driveline itself, in case of a failure.
Our M35x propeller shaft is made by state of the art machinery, and it is an OEM Fitment product. All our driveshafts are speed balanced at 3500 RPM and are built to last and perform, to give you long lasting operation and vibration free product.

All replacement parts, such as U-joints and the center support bearing are available from us at a low cost. Replacing these parts is something you may want to consider in case of a future breakdown after the warranty ends, and it is something the competition may not be able to help you with.
